i am on my way to Paris this week to premier vision, i am excited as this is a prize i won with Bradford textiles the travel award so i hope everyone i meet is nice any i may even make new friends :)

i no i havent been on for a while, but i have been really busy with working and hunting for my perfect job, so if anyone has any ideas for me i would be very greatful for them :)

I am very happy in the last couple of weeks i have exhibited at new designs, and found out that i have got a first class honors degree in textiles, role on graduation and finding my perfect job.

me at my private view yesterday, it went really well and the uni want to buy my work off me to display in the uni, so i am really pleased :) 

These are a few more pages out of my sketch book and I am really pleased with them as they complement my samples well. 

these are my mini cards that I baught from moo, I am really pleased with how they have turned out I think they look professional and I like all six different designs as I think the show the range of my work well. 

This is me at the Bradford textile award ceremony a few weeks ago with one of my boards that I won a commendation for :) 

I got my moo sample business cards through the post today, im really pleased with the it think the images are nice and i am glad i ordered my proper ones for my degree show 

I feel like I haven't put anything on for a while, but I haven't been doing anything exciting just making sure everything is finished nicely, until we start putting the show up next week, so there will be more pictures then :) x x x

Today, I got my stickers ready for my boards, and did little bits and pieces thats need finishing for my grades.

went to Bradford textiles today, and received my two commendation awards, and also found out i won the travel award so i am now going to Paris in September with the company :)

Took these pictures yesterday, it was stressful as I started putting my work up for ideas for my final degree  show and it was a lot harder then I thought it would be.

                                 finished my trims today, and they are now washed and ready to press.

What did I do today? I wove another trim for my collection and got this photo of me receiving my award from the Company of Worshipful Weavers who presented me with a scholarship. I took this into uni today and one of my tutors is going to get mine and my friend Jodie (who also won a scholarship) on the university website. 

   

Today I wove a trim for my final collection and had my picture taken for are third year catalogue by my good friend Alice Durose :)

Today i washed and cut some of my jackards and did some work in my sketch book.

Well, I've had a productive Saturday. I started this blog and I have finished some of my illustrator work and printed it off

Now I think I'll make some changes to my statement of practise
